Not feeling very festive been fine over christmas but New Years day was the we always had grandparents round for lunch and today was the first one without my grandad. Didn't really want to go to my parents for lunch but I did and felt a bit put out as they'd only set the table for 5 leaving me and my sister to eat on our knees across the room. Dad got in a fight with sister between main meal and dessert and she took her dessert upstairs and din't come down again and I just spent the whole time waiting for my grandad to pop into the room or hear his voice from the kitchen.

Just want to wish everyone a very merry Christmas or happy holidays. I'm saying it now as may be going to the parentals soon so will have no lj probably

In Flanders fields the poppies blow

I am having a new start new year moment. Currently inspired and it will last (honest).
So new look to lj new mindset!

Well we've got 8" of snow which the dogs think is brill but I've only just mangaged to get the boiler working again after it packed in 24hours ago so not a very happy bunny as it was freezing last night. Crossed fingers for boiler to keep working are very welcome.

Well I cross off another thing on my 'I've never done that must have a go' list. Yesterday I did showcross with Oz I must admit I was nervous the crosscountry was nearly all solid with some quite big jumps in it.
!st go round in pre-novice was pretty sticky we stopped and looked at most fences and I skipped a couple in the cross country that he really said no to. Then decided to do the novice just to give him another chance now he'd seen everything. Well he was so honest the only thing we didn't jump was the barrels that he had done in the first round and to be honest I think it was more a case of him saying I'm tired and they are too big.
He's such a good pony!
M had got us a crosscountry set at the tacksale all in PURPLE! So we were all matchy-matchy for the day aswell.
